PADI Freediver Instructor Course Dates
It’s finally here!!! We are excited to announce the dates and updates for the fantastic year 2024 regarding the new PADI freediving courses.
This is the perfect time to seize the opportunity to become a true freediving professional. Due to the great success, for this new academic year 2024/2025, which will start in September and end in May 2025, our Underwater Academy courses will be available in new locations, both in Italy and abroad.
What’s New
The new updates consist of providing greater access to participants in new locations across Italy. In addition to the well-known locations in Polignano a Mare (BA), Porto Cesareo (LE), Pozzallo in the Ragusa area, and in the heart of the Mediterranean on the islands of Malta and Gozo, we are planning dates in the following cities for this season: Bologna, Ravenna, Naples, Cagliari, and Marina di Ragusa (RG). Isn’t this fantastic? We are building the largest school for underwater activities in Italy, thanks to the contributions of clubs, associations, and instructors with their respective teams who are participating in the realization of this great project.
Crossover or Course?
If you are already a certified scuba instructor from another training agency and want to increase your visibility as a professional by becoming a PADI freediver instructor, you can also participate in the scheduled course dates in Italy and Malta. By joining our crossovers, you will learn to perfect what you already know, effectively opening up new earning opportunities and enabling you to work worldwide.
Requirements for New Instructors:
Those enrolling in courses to become new PADI freediver instructors must meet the following requirements, either from PADI or another recognized training agency or federation:
- Minimum age of the candidate: 18 years.
- Certification as a PADI Master Freediver or equivalent from another training agency.
- Must have documented the completion of at least 100 freediving dives.
- Must possess a First Aid and CPR certification issued within the past 2 years from the day after the freediver instructor exam.
Requirements for Crossover Freediver Instructors:
All instructors already holding a certification issued by another recognized federation or training agency must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age of the candidate: 18 years.
- Possess a freediver instructor certification issued by a recognized federation or training agency.
- Hold a valid First Aid and CPR certification, issued within the past 2 years from the day after the freediver instructor exam.
