The PADI Care For Children Course is an essential resource for addressing risks and dangers not only in the diving context but also in daily life. This program will teach you how to provide basic life support to infants and children, gaining crucial skills to save lives. The EFR Care For Children course is based on internationally recognized guidelines.

Through the PADI Care For Children Course, organized by Underwater Academy Europe, you will learn to:

  • Identify life-threatening emergencies in infants and children.
  • Provide specific first aid for infants and children.
  • Manage emergency situations where infants and children are in life-threatening danger.
  • Perform CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) on infants and children.
  • Prevent and treat bleeding, shock, and spinal injuries.
  • Use protective barriers to reduce the risk of disease transmission.
  • Use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on infants and children.

The course includes two fundamental components:

  1. Knowledge Development: Theoretical acquisition of rescue skills.
  2. Practical Sessions: Application of rescue skills in simulated emergency scenarios.

All necessary equipment for the practical sessions will be provided by our Dive Center.

There are no prerequisites to participate in the course and obtain the EFR certification.
