In over 30 years of activity and 5,000 certifications issued, I have understood one fundamental thing: the sea is not a competitive arena, but a place of freedom that must be experienced with deep respect.
Putting Life First
My main objective is not just to issue a certification. My mission is to ensure that every student, from beginner to future instructor, learns to put their own life and that of others first.
I want to see you become an independent and aware diver or freediver: someone who knows their limits, respects the blue and can manage every situation in complete safety. Technique is important, but awareness is what makes the difference between a practitioner and a true man or woman of the sea.
Why do I do it? A Force called Passion
I am often asked what drives me, after three decades, to still load my equipment every morning. The answer is simple: Passion. It is a powerful feeling, at times indescribable, that provides incredible strength even in the most difficult moments. Seeing the wonder in the eyes of those discovering the sea for the first time is the spark that fuels my work every day.
Inclusivity, not Competition
I believe in an educational approach that places human value at its centre.
• In Scuba Diving: The sea must be a place where every barrier of nationality, gender or social background disappears. What matters is sharing and the joy of having found a new friend to explore the seabed with.
• In Freediving: We know that competition arises naturally, but my commitment is to transform it into respect and sportsmanship. The challenge is first and foremost with oneself, while towards others there must only be support.
My mission always ends in the same way: not with a score or a time on a stopwatch, but with everyone gathered together in a small local restaurant, laughing and sharing the moments experienced underwater. Because passion is more beautiful when it is shared.
