The best time to dive in Malta
The Maltese islands enjoy a mild climate that allows spectacular diving throughout the entire year. During summer, the average air temperature ranges between 28°C and 32°C with very sunny days. In this season, the surface water reaches 26°C, while at 15 meters depth it settles around 24°C. In contrast, winter offers average air temperatures around 15°C with still pleasant weather. The surface sea temperature drops to about 16°C, remaining similar even at 15 meters depth. Consequently, we recommend a dry suit in the colder months to maintain maximum thermal comfort.
