Tal-Barba Cave Gozo: Exploring an Underwater Passage from 27m to 12m
Discover the Underwater Passage of Tal-Barba Cave
What would you feel diving into a narrow underwater passage hidden inside the rock?
At Tal-Barba Cave, on the island of Gozo, the dive takes you into a fascinating underwater environment where the rock itself becomes the route.
The most exciting part of this dive is the descent into a narrow passage that begins at approximately 27 metres and continues upward through the rock, eventually emerging at around 12 metres.
Experience and Training Required
Exploring this type of underwater environment requires appropriate experience, excellent buoyancy control and specific training. This dive is suitable for divers holding a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, or an equivalent certification from another recognised training organisation, together with a PADI Cavern Diver certification, or equivalent training.
The underwater world always has another level to explore.
