Technical Suggestions

This sheltered dive site is suitable for different equipment configurations depending on the season you choose to visit. During the winter months and early spring, the use of a dry suit is highly recommended to counter the cold temperatures of deeper waters and ensure prolonged thermal comfort. With the arrival of summer and the warming of the surface waters, you can comfortably switch to a five or seven millimeter wetsuit, ideal for moving freely underwater. A semi-dry suit represents an excellent middle-ground solution for transitional seasons such as May and November, when the thermal drop starts to become slightly noticeable. The exceptional visibility reduces the need for a powerful dive torch during the day, although this accessory becomes essential if you wish to explore the rocky crevices and the small cave located on the western side. The use of standard compressed air is perfect for planning this dive, considering that the shallow depths allow for long and safe bottom times. The choice of nitrox does not offer significant decompression advantages at this specific site, but it remains a valid option for reducing post-dive physical fatigue, especially if you plan to complete multiple consecutive dives during the same day.
