Prerequisites

PADI digital learning materials are included to allow you to study comfortably wherever you are. You will have access to videos and interactive manuals that will make learning extremely quick and intuitive.

This level qualifies you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres. However, you must always be accompanied by a PADI Divemaster or Instructor during every outing. It is the excellent solution for those who want to enjoy the sea without the responsibility of autonomous planning.

PADI Scuba Diver vs Open Water Diver | Key Differences Explained
The Scuba Diver is essentially a sub-module that covers about half of the full programme. While the Open Water allows you to descend to 18 metres with a buddy, the limit here is 12 metres. You can still upgrade your grade in the future simply by completing the missing.
